Arts-Based Mental Health Peer Learning Program

Are you on a path to mental health recovery and discovery, seeking genuine connection, new perspectives and a space where you’re truly heard?

THRIVE is a free six-week peer-led program that blends gentle arts-based inquiries with rich discussion and learning. It is designed to support self-discovery in a warm, inclusive space.

Facilitated by Rachel Schofield, a Lived Experience Peer Worker and a qualified Arts Therapist, THRIVE offers a unique blend of personal insight and professional guidance, creating a compassionate space where creativity supports healing, growth and connection.

Our work is person-led and guided by values of empathy, compassion, and inclusion. Lived Experience Peer Support services are an important and highly valued aspect our wrap-around approach. Join us to be supported in your unique healthcare experience.

What happens at THRIVE Art Group?

At THRIVE Art Group, you will be welcomed into a safe and supportive space to explore your mental health and wellbeing through creative expression. Each session invites reflection on identity, connection and personal growth using simple, accessible art-making activities. No prior art experience needed.

Guided by a Lived Experience Peer Worker and a qualified Arts Therapist, the group encourages curiosity, resilience and shared learning. It’s a space to pause, express what words sometimes can’t and rediscover strengths beyond diagnosis. All materials are provided, and there’s time at the end to connect with others on the journey.

Who can attend THRIVE Art Group?

THRIVE is open to adults 18 years or older, looking to connect through creativity, explore their mental health and wellbeing in a supportive environment.

You are not required to be a current client of Brain & Mind Hub to attend this group.

How to register to attend THRIVE Art Group

Please register to join the group and confirm your attendance for the 6-week program.

Spaces are limited, so this helps ensure we can provide support to as many people as possible and helps us understand whether we need to make the group more widely available.

Here are some tips to make registering through our online portal quick and easy:

  1. Click the button below when you are ready to sign up. You will be redirected to our online booking portal (Zanda).
  2. Select the option to "BOOK CLASS". If you are not a current client, you will be prompted to create a user profile.
  3. You'll be sent a verification code that allows you to finish setting up your profile. It may arrive in your spam folder.
  4. Once your profile is ready to go, you will again have the option to select "BOOK CLASS" from the main menu.
  5. Select "See availability for all Providers"
  6. Select your chosen date to see available Group(s)
  7. Click your chosen Group, then Click "Book Now"
