Lived Experience

Peer Work services

Individual support from those with lived experience of mental health challenges to promote authentic connection, hope and recovery.

Our team of Peer Workers draw on their lived experience to offer support and assist with navigating mental health services and recovery. They understand the challenges that come with creating positive change and are here to walk alongside you on your wellbeing journey.

We understand that recovery is not the same for everyone and we want to learn about your unique experience. From the moment you connect with our services, Lived Experience Peer Workers are available to you at no additional cost, as part of our commitment to holistic care.

Our Peer Workers can support you with a range of matters, whether it be help navigating our services, connecting with the community or simply understanding the challenges affecting your wellbeing.

How we can help

Our Peer Workers value the connections they form with those they support, and feel that what we learn from you is just as valuable as the support that we can offer.

We work with you to navigate the challenges you are facing together, building a collaborative relationship with your interests front of mind.

What does a Peer Worker do?

Our Peer Workers are very understanding and want to learn how you can be best supported.

Whether you want to learn more about the services available, want a little more support or just want to chat, our Peer Work team is here.

In addition to individual support, our Lived Experience Peer Workers also facilitate Group Programs to help you build skills and resources that can support recovery and create connections within the community.

What does Lived Experience mean?

We understand the insight gained through navigating mental health challenges and recovery, and that someone who has experienced these challenges themself can provide invaluable support to another person.

Our Peer Workers each have their own lived experience and insight which they use to help better understand how to provide support. Their commitment is to advocate for you and your recovery.
